Day Camp 2005

Cub Scout Day Camp is an organized program under certified leadership at an approved campsite during daylight hours. Boys attend with den members under the den and pack leadership, which includes interested parents. The program activities provide fun, adventure and new experiences in the outdoors. The program also provides opportunities to meet requirements in each rank.

Each district in Del-Mar-Va Council organizes it's own unique day camp. the 2005 sumer day camp's theme is "All Aboard." All registered Cub Scouts entering grades two through five are eligible to participate. This year's day camp will take place at the 4H Park in Centerville. The cost of this program will be $60.00 (PACK MAY DISCOUNT THIS PRICE)per scout. This year's Day Camp will take place on July 6-Fri. July 8Wed.The program runs from 8:30am-4:00pm. We usually have one leader attend, however, we will need other adults attend if we are going to have more than 4 scouts. At 7:45am we meet in the parking lot of the Easton Airport to shuttle/carpool scouts to this event.


The cost of this camp is a total $55.00. A deposit of $20.00 to reserve s space is due at the Feb Pack Meeting. The balance will be due at the Aprilpack meeting (or earlier). Please use the form provided at the February pack meeting when submitting deposits. All deposits are submitted to DelMarVa Counsil and are non-refundable. A class 1 health form (You DO NOT need a physical examination from a doctor: fill out only the first scection)is required for this and must be submitted for both the parent and the scout attending the event. Parents attending the day camp as assisting leaders complete a camp volunteer agreement.

What to bring?


2. Medications - in a sealed container labled with the child's name.

3. Shoes...NO Sandals.

4. Hat

5. Sunscreen (if needed)

6. Appropriate clothing (ex. No long pants due to heat)

7. Scout uniform is not required, however we encourage all to wear a "Pack 532 yellow T-Shirt"

Who is it for?

Cub Scout Day Camp is for boys, entering the second and third grades. Camp sessions are geared toward an introduction to the outdoor program of Boy Scouts of America. Activities are developed around Cub Scout requirements and are theme oriented. The 2003 theme is Pirates! The 2003 theme is SpaceAdventures! All resident camp costs (except Trading Post spending money) are included in the camp fee. The pack or den must register as a group (rninimum 5 Scouts) and provide at least two leaders to attend camp with the boys, or each group. The leaders may be den or pack leaders, or other interested parents.



Cub and Webelos Day Camp is an introduction to camping. . A parent is required to attend with their son. The primary objective is to provide Cubs and Webelos, parents and other leaders with a meaningful, fun filled experience, and to strengthen parent-son relationships.
